It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Basic on December 3, 2012 at William Osler Health System (Brampton Civic Hospital) in his 61st year after a brief illness.
Dan was a beloved son of the late Ivan and late Milena, devoted brother to Marius, John and late Graziano, and caring uncle to nieces Tina and Marni.
He will be fondly remembered by his co-workers and many friends, especially for his sense of humour and his love of celebrations.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, Brampton, on Monday, December 10 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, December 11 at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association of Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Military Families Fund.
