Cora Jane Nicholls

NICHOLLS, Cora Jane (nee Cline) - Passed away peacefully, after a battle with cancer, on Monday, October 3, 2011 at Humber River Regional Hospital in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late, great William T. Nicholls. Very sadly missed by her sister Marion Stanton. Loving mother of Nancy and Ekkehard Heidebrecht, Cora Lee Forgie and Ed Leger, and Trevor and Heather-Anne Nicholls. Wonderful grandmother to Wendy Sellars, Ryan and Kamilla Heidebrecht, and Natalie and Ian Vaillancourt. Adoring great-grandmother of Samantha, Holly, Mitchell, Kameron, Emma, Caleb, Karolina, and Emily. Sadly missed by her adopted family, Larry and Joanne Perry, Catherine, Adam, Michaela, Sarah Jean, and Billy Stark, and Darryl, Aurea, Keegan, and Eleena Perry. Predeceased by siblings Ernie and Marjorie Cline, Florence and George Males, Electa and Leo Eckensviller, Levern and Evelyn Cline, Shirley and Ephraim Hilts, Kenneth Cline, Ada and George Vosburgh, and Richard Stanton. A sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses at the hospital and to the personal support workers and nurses in the Haliburton and Etobicoke regions. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Cora’s life will be held at Kipling Avenue Baptist Church, 2240 Kipling Avenue, Toronto on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Kipling Avenue Baptist Church would be appreciated.
