Constantina Melidy

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Constantina (Dina) Melidy, nee Partalis,  on Friday January 19, 2024 while asleep in her 83^rd year.

Constantina is survived by her devoted husband Anastasi (Steve) and by her loving children, Anthony (Tracey), Jeannie (Kosta) and Kathy. She was an amazing Baba to her grandchildren George (Vivi), Lenna, Nicholas, Connie (Ross), Thomas, Andrew and Steven, and to her great grandson Constantine (Dean).

Dina will be greatly missed by her sister Efigenia (Jane), nieces and nephews, and her many friends from everywhere she went. Dina truly had a gift and everyone that met her felt warm and happy to know her. This was true right to the last day.  She survived 5 of her siblings. 

Constantina’s devotion to her family, even throughout her battle with cancer, was evident each and every day.  Even from her hospital room bed, she would find something to feed her children and grandchildren with. 

She had many talents and interests including the ability to speak many languages, make a flower grow from a dry stick, play bingo, and always have a lasagna ready just in case someone came over.

In leu of flowers, donations to Princess Margaret Cancer Research would be appreciated. Dina was a regular supporter through her son’s Ride To Conquer Cancer.
