With profound sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of Conor at the age of 82.

He was lovingly surrounded by his wife Sharon (nee Okum) and their 2 children Darin (Lori Colucci) and Lara (Josh Maugeri) at the Southlake Health Care Centre.

Conor will be deeply missed by his 3 grandsons Nolan, Jaxon and Bodhi.

Conor was the eldest of 3 sons born to Helena (nee Tipping) and Patrick O’Callaghan of Dublin, Ireland. He will be dearly missed by his brothers, Ronan (Frances) and Darragh (Annette), and their families in Ireland.

Conor’s greatest pride and joy was his family. He treasured time spent and stories told around the dinner table with those he loved most. He especially enjoyed kayaking with Sharon, his devoted wife of 52 years. Together they shared a love of adventure, exploring Canada and Europe, discovering new places, and creating a lifetime of treasured memories.

Conor loved cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events and treasured the many adventures they shared at the cottage. He enjoyed discussing politics and world affairs, reading, and staying connected with his many friends.

Conor’s quiet Irish wit and gentle sense of humour brought laughter to those around him. He was a loyal and faithful friend, a respected colleague throughout his career in the insurance industry, and a kind and devoted husband, father, and grandpa. He earned the respect, admiration, and friendship of many throughout his life and career and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will be cherished and never forgotten."
