Alderdice, Colleen (nee McArthur)
Peacefully on June 2, 2015 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH) at the age of 79 with her family at her side. Beloved wife of the late Harvey (2010). Loving mother of Jeff and his fiancée Tara, and Wendy and her husband Michael Spence. Much loved grandmother of Evan, Ryan and Kara Spence. Survived by her sister Patricia and brother-in-law John Baus. Predeceased by her sister, Helen Sostar and brother-in-law Edward Sostar and her brother, Allan McArthur and sister-in-law Carolyn McArthur. Colleen will be missed by her extended family, including her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, and her nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her many friends, including those at the Queen’s Avenue Retirement Residence in Oakville. Special thank you to the staff at OTMH and Dr. Kris Martiniuk. Visitation at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville on Thursday June 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday June 5th, 2015 at 12 o’clock noon, at St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church, 1150 Monks Passage, Oakville.
