Clifford Charles Joseph Smith

March 14, 1931 - July 14, 2026

The family announces with sorrow, the passing of Clifford Charles Joseph Smith at the age of 95 at Agecare Aurora. Clifford was the loving husband for 66 years of Brenda, father of George (Tracey) and the late Christopher (Helen) Smith. He was the loving Papa to Nathaniel (Claudia), Sabrina and Alec. He will also be missed by extended family which he was very close to and his beloved dog Kaylee.

Clifford, Brenda, Chris and George came to Canada from India in 1966. Cliff happily told stories of his time in India, travelling to many ports as a merchant marine engineer, as well of his many travels with his wife in their retirement. He also loved his garden, his volunteer work with the Anglo-Indian society, socializing with his many friends and his dogs over the years.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral service to follow in the Ward Funeral Home Chapel (4671 Highway 7, Woobridge) at 1:00 p.m. A private family cremation will take place at a later date.
