Christopher Steven “Christy” McLaughlin founding member of the Carlton Showband passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loving family. Survived by his loving wife Jennifer. Beloved brother of Barney, Josephine (Johnny), Vincent (Lorraine), Eileen (Eamon), Elizabeth (Billy), Kathleen (Davey), Maureen (Seamus). Loving brother in law to Derek and Rita Beattie and Margaret McLaughlin. Predeceased by his brothers, Jim, Thomas, Billy, Leo and Anthony. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews in Canada, England, Ireland and the U.S.A. Special thank you to Dr. Dale Brown, Dr. Joseph Deitcher, Marian (PSW), Brian and the palliative care team. Christy will always be remembered by his ever present smile.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church (2194 Kipling Ave, Toronto) on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 9:30am.
Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to KC's Cushion Fund would be appreciated.
