KARLEZKI, Christine
Peacefully, with family by her side at Brampton Civic Hospital on March 23, 2017 at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband John in 1987. Christine is lovingly remembered by her daughters Christine Campbell, Lainee Elliot and Gerald Robillard (deceased), Elizabeth and (Robert) Manson, Patricia and (Paul) Davis, Carmen Karlezki and (Michael Kirkpatrick). Loving Grandmother and Omi to Colleen Campbell, Scott Elliot (Joy Noble), Sarah and (Ben) MacDonald, Jessica and (Sean) Attwood, Alexis and (Matthew) Ward, Jacob Davis, Luke Davis. Loving Great Grandmother to Vaughan Elliot, Summer Elliot, Grace MacDonald, Adam MacDonald, Gwendolyn Attwood and Ellis Ward. In Germany she is survived by her brother Hans and his wife and many nieces and nephews. Born in Neu Pasua, Yugoslavia on October 23, 1928 and forced to leave their family farm during WWII she spent much of her time in Germany and Austria before immigrating to Canada in 1953. Christine retired from Nortel Networks in 1993 and devoted her time to family and enjoyed hosting family gatherings until complications of health no longer allowed her. A Celebration of Life is being held for Christine on Sunday April 2nd, 2017 at the Rotary Glen, 1857 Queen St. W. Brampton from 2pm – 4pm.
