In Loving Memory of Christine Caissie (Batthish)

May she rest in the peace of Christ.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christine Caissie (nee Batthish), who was called to her eternal home by the Lord.

Christine was the loving wife of Darryl Caissie. 

Christine was the cherished daughter of Laila and Alex Batthish, and the beloved sister of Rosie Batthish, brother-in-law Shadi Kandalaft, and dear aunt to Leah. She will be deeply missed by her parents-in-law Roger and Cindy Caissie, her brother-in-law Sean, sister-in-law Ingrid, and niece Bridget.

Christine’s warmth, kindness, and generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she brightened. Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing she now rests in the embrace of our Heavenly Father, reunited with those who have gone before her in faith.

May the Lord grant her soul eternal rest and may perpetual light shine upon her.

Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge) on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.– 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Ward Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
