Christina (Chrisoula Patsiatzis) Haralampidis, aged 94, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026 in Michael Garron Hospital, Toronto Ontario.

Born on March 8th 1932 in Karya, Olympou Greece, Chrisoula was the fifth of the six children of Aspasia and Nicholas Patsiatzis and tragically lost her own mother at six years of age.Chrisoula followed her beloved, lifelong, best friend and sister, Maria Dassios to Canada in 1960 but returned to Greece to marry Kostandinos Haralampidis in 1962 (predeceased, 2015). 

While she prided herself on her open home, without missing a day of cooking hot meals for her family, she also worked several part time and full time jobs as a cleaner, housekeeper, and retired as a kitchen assistant at St. Augustine’s Seminary. Her family, her home and her faith became the centre of her world and her utmost pride.Her four children: Tom, Bessie, Aspasia and Katy, along with their spouses: Niky, John, George and Christopher and her grandchildren: Speros, Christina, Costa, Eleni, Pericles and Odysseus will miss her presence everyday. She is also loved and remembered by her cherished sister, and her adored nephews and nieces.

Chrisoula will be remembered for aptitude in cooking, knitting and gardening, her infectious laughter, particularly among her family, and her tireless hard work that was guided by an unwavering faith in God.

May she rest in eternal peace.
