Charles Russell Jones

With a deep sense of pride for a life so beautifully lived, the family of Charles Russell Jones announces his peaceful passing on July 17, 2025, at the age of 86. Born June 16, 1939, Charles built a life defined by dedication, character, and an unshakable commitment to his family.

He is now reunited with his beloved wife of 50 years, Sandra, who was the center of his world. Charles was the proud and cherished father of Melissa (Rob) and Stephanie (David), who will forever be grateful for his steadfast guidance and support. His greatest role, however, was that of "Grandpa." His eyes would light up with immense pride for his grandchildren, Emma and Carter, who were the absolute joy of his life. He was, and will always remain, their biggest fan.

Predeceased by his brother, John Jones, and is survived by John’s wife, Lynn, niece Cathy and nephew Chris.

Russ and Sandra bought their first house in Kleinburg, and with great pride, they made it their forever home.

Charles was the rock of our family, a man whose quiet presence brought comfort and whose love knew no bounds. He will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on July 23, 2025, at the Ward Funeral Home - Weston Chapel (2035 Weston Road, Toronto) from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM. A burial service will follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery (1570 Royal York Road, Toronto) at 12:00 PM.

A Celebration of Charles's wonderful life will be held in the early fall at the Copper Creek Golf Club (11191 Hwy 27, Vaughan).
