Peacefully in hospital on May 31, 2015 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Fitzsimons (nee Cruickshank) (2001) Dear father of Stephen (Philippa) and Jeffrey. Cherished grandfather of Dylan. Dear friend and companion of Lorraine Easson. Predeceased by his siblings Nell, Dan, Rose, Bill, Gil, Alice and Edie. Charlie led an active life. His favourite past times included golf, curling, playing cards, dancing and travelling. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Wednesday, June 3rd from 7-9 pm. A Celebration of his life will be held at Downsview United Church (2822 Keele Street, North York) on Thursday, June 4th.
