Cecilia Tittoto

Mrs. Cecilia Tittoto (nee Castaldo) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025 at Villa Columbo Nursing Home, Toronto at the age of 96. She was born in Cornuda,Treviso, Italy. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Almerino (Nino) of 53 years, her parents Gilda and Cirrillo Castaldo, and her siblings Marco and Carlo Tittoto.

She will be greatly missed by her children Sergio, Enrico, and Guido. Grandmother to Amanda, Matteo, Paulo, Melissa, and Micheal. Great grandmother to Charlotte, Mila, and Nico.

She enjoyed attending mass every week at St. Norbert’s Church. Cecilia started sewing at the age of 6 and had a long career as a very talented seamstress. Gardening was one of her great pleasures. She and her husband would grow a variety of vegetables and fruit that they would share with family and friends.

She was a loving, warm and generous woman that loved spending time with her grandchildren and daughters in-law.

Cecilia will be missed by all that knew her.

Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, Weston Chapel, 2035 Weston Road, Toronto, Ontario on Sunday, April 27th from 2:00-6:00 PM. The funeral mass will be held at St. Norbert’s Church, 100 Regent Road, Toronto (North York) on Monday, April 28 at 11:00 AM. Cremation to follow.

Inurnment of both Almerino and Cecilia will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
