Peacefully on Friday October 21, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family, Catherine Newton, in her 90th year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Harold (Newt). Loving mother of Douglas, Donald (Susan) and David (Julie). Devoted grandmother of Cynthia, Christopher, Matthew, Kristin, Jennifer, Jessica, Katie, Robyn, and James. Proud great-grandmother of Sam, Duncan, Ben, Cole, Callum, Will, Ethan, Isla-Jane and Oliver. Dear sister of the late Gordon, Jack and George. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Sunday From 6-8 pm and Monday from 12-2pm. A private family service to follow. Cremation. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
