Our dear mother, Catherine (Rina) Mary Kehoe (Aiello) passed peacefully in her sleep at home on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Michael (Mike) Edward Kehoe of 33 years (1989). She is predeceased by her parents Frank (1983) and Filomena Aiello (1979), and sister Connie Beattie (2020).

Loving mother of Michael (1996), (Dianna), Debbie (Gary), Cindy (Raymond), and Frank (Renata). Cherished Nanny to her grandchildren, David, Gary, Grant, Brooke, Jessica, and Thomas, and great-grandchildren, Michael, Izabella, and Madelyn and soon to arrive baby boy. She is also survived by her niece, Janet Boyce (Frank), great-niece Christine (Mike), and extended family members.

Rina met Mike at Rainbow Dairies in Niagara Falls while working in accounting administration before having children. She returned to work after her youngest finished high school working various jobs at Niagara Square before moving to Brampton in May of 1986, and continued her accounting career until her retirement. Mom loved tending her vegetable garden each year and enjoyed canning with her mother from the tomatoes grown in their backyard gardens (hundreds of jars of tomato sauce, with some peaches and cherries as well). Mom also loved her flower gardens. Mom and her friends played bocce ball for several years and she also enjoyed dancing with her girlfriends in her younger days. She was a good seamstress with her mom and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Mom kept her mind sharp by doing crossword puzzles and word games. 

Mom was a parishioner at Our Lady of the Scapular Church in Niagara Falls and St. Mary's Church in Brampton and a member of the CWL in both churches.

Mom's kindness, generosity, unconditional support, and quiet strength will never be forgotten.

The family extends a warm thank you to Rina's Drs. and nurses at Credit Valley Hospital, William Osler Health System - Brampton Civic Hospital, Dr. Rajeswaran, Dr. Mahabir, and the many PSWs at CBI Home Health for their compassionate care given to Mom these past five months, as well as Queen Square Family Health Team - Seana and Dr. Hayward, and Spectrum Health Care, including Rajamdeep (her primary nurse), and Payal to name a few.

Visitation will be at Ward Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 26 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at 52 Main St. S., Brampton. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 27 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 66A Main St. S, Brampton, with Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, 4501 Stanley Avenue, Niagara Falls at 2:00 p.m.
