It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Nonna and Bisnonna, Caterina (nee Turbian). She is predeceased by her beloved husband Bruno, who passed on May 26, 2016. Loving mother to Joseph (Buffy), Anna (Ziggy), and cherished Nonna to Krista (Ryan), Jennifer (Wade), Kellie (Corey), Eva, and Bisnonna to Hazel. Caterina, always a loving sister to her 9 siblings; will be held dear in the heart of her surviving youngest brother Bruno. Caterina was spirited and energetic, with a passion for her family and her garden. Her sense of humour brought smiles to all that knew her. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Monday, May 27, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine of Canterbury Parish (80 Shoreham Drive, North York. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
