Carolyn Merritt (nee Sinclair)

August 12, 1933 – January 12, 2026

Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on January 12, 2026, at the age of 92. She is now reunited with the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Merritt, as well as siblings Charles, Edward, Patricia, Jim and Sally. Loving mother of Linda Jean (Milan Kacer), Douglas (Terry) and Gail (Brian Shields). Doting Nanna to Cameron, Samuel, Daniel, Benjamin, and Joseph, and proud Great-Nanna to William, Oliver, Henry and Alice Louise. Carolyn was a lifetime member of the Salvation Army. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and extended family members.

A memorial visitation and celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

If desired, memorial donations may be made in Carolyn’s name to the Salvation Army.
