Suddenly but peacefully on Wednesday May 30, 2012 in her 65th year at her home on Lake of Bays. Her strength and spirit will be remembered by husband Ian and children Kate (Ryan Carroll), Patrick (Trisha), Jamie (Jamie Trenholme), sister Charlotte Oldham (William & family), and sister-in-law Jean Partridge (John & family). Predeceased by parents William & Marilynne Avery and brother Bobby of London, Ontario. The backbone of our family, she left an imprint on everyone she met. Wife, mother, dear friend, golfer, teacher, skier, royalist, gardener, crossword enthusiast, cross-border shopper, card shark, sports fan, and dog whisperer – she will be greatly missed. She gave us so much, but left us too soon. Please join us in celebrating her life at 2pm on Thursday, June 7th at the Estates of Sunnybrook – Vaughan Estate Courtyard Ballroom (2075 Bayview Avenue, Toronto). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital Foundation or the St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation.
