Obituary

Carmine Morrone

God saw Carmine getting tired, and when the path grew steep, he wrapped him in his arms and whispered "peace be thine". He passed away peacefully after a day with family on Monday January 19 at the age of 95. Devoted husband of late Rosa who were together for more than 72 years. Proud father of Anna, Francesca (the late Aldo, Joe), Marisa, Sandy (Michael), Rita (Joe), Rose (Sam), Steve (Sandy). Cherished Nonno of Andrew, Michael, Tony, Lisa, Virgil, Nicholas, Vanessa, Bianca, Adam, Paul Jr., Carmine and Francesca. Loving Bisnonno to 15 great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by family.

Carmine has been reunited with the love of his life Rosa and their beautiful grandson Tony.

Born to parents Salvatore and Rosa. After losing his father at a young age, Carmine became an entrepeneur selling goats and sheep throughout the town. It was that town that Carmine met the beautiful Rosa. The young couple married in the summer of 1950. 9 years later with their first three children they made the move to Canada for a brighter future for themselves.

Carmine was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he never had. Family meant more to him than anything else in the world. His garden was his pride and joy, and the envy of the neighbourhood. He loved sharing the fruits of his labour with all.

He will be remembered for his selfless generousity and his welcoming open door.

"Forever loved, always remembered."
