Carmine Genitti
December 11, 1934 - May 29, 2025
Carmine Genitti passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, in his 91st year. He was a devoted husband to Maura for 64 wonderful years. Carmine was a proud father to his late daughter, Angela, and a beloved uncle to his nephew Cesare and the late Tony. He was deeply cherished by his son-in-law Mike (Sirene), and adored as Nonno by his grandchildren Alessia, Michael, and Kai.
He was the brother of the late Dominico (Gina), Lucia (predeceased Edilio), and Serafina (predeceased Salvatore). Carmine was a kind, fun-loving man who never caused trouble for anyone. He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures—watching soccer, playing bocce, and sipping a glass of wine with dinner. Hardworking and talented, he took great pride in applying his artistic skills to his trade.
Carmine will be remembered with love by his many relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Sunday, June 1, from 2:30–4:30 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Margaret Mary Parish, 8500 Islington Avenue, Woodbridge, on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., followed by entombment at Park Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Angela Scauzillo to Princess Margaret Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family. Messages of remembrance can be shared in the Book of Memories at www.wardfuneralhome.com.
