Passed away January 20th, 2013 at 6:45 pm at Brampton Civic Hospital, surrounded by his family and close friends after a short battle with cancer. Survived by his loving wife Bessie and his children Wayne (Janice), Wallace (Valerie), Wilson (Laurie) and Ivan. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Jason, Vanessa, Tanya, Jennifer, Terra, Taylor and Simon and eight great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his four sisters, three brothers and their families. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel" 52 Main Street S. (Hwy #10), Brampton on Tuesday January 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 23 at 11:00 a.m. at New Life Community Church, 9281 Goreway Drive, Brampton. Interment to take place at Meadowvale Cemetery, 7732 Mavis Road, Brampton. Donations in Calvin's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
