Byron Hainer

 June 26 1940 - September 25 2025

Predeceased by his wife Patricia Ann (Pat) and Son Mark Peter. Survived by sons Paul and wife Sophie, Rick and wife Lynn. Loved by his grandchildren Samantha (Patrick), Ashley (Tony), Joey and Mitchell.

Peter became an Allstate agent in 1967 and with Pat in 1982 founded Insuranceland Inc (formerly P. Hainer Insurance Brokers Inc.) . Peter has been a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 82 Port Credit where he enjoyed playing cards and occasionally winning. Peter was a founding board member of St. Hildas Towers and a member of the board for over 35 years.

Visitation will occur at Ward Funeral Home (Weston Chapel) Monday October 6, 2025 from 9:30 to 10:30. A funeral service will take place from 10:30 to 11:30 followed by a reception. Peter will be interred at the Norwich Gore Cemetery Tuesday October 7, 2025 at 11 am.
