It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bruno on Sunday September 15th, 2019 at the age of 87. Devoted husband of Maria of 63 wonderful years. Proud father of Joe (Elizabeth Anne predeceased), Danny (Marianna), Betty (Peter Silvestro predeceased) and Sabrina. Cherished Nonno of Stephanie (Sam), Danielle, Bruno, Mario and Alessandra. Loving Bisnonno to Adrian. Dear brother of Battista (predeceased), Luciana (predeceased), Ines and Rosalba. Bruno will be sadly missed by his many family and friends. Fondly remembered for his radiant smile and his warm welcoming eyes, his firm manly handshake and his stories will live on. An artisan of woodworking, meat curing and wine making. His love of classical and singing folklore music, sports and reading has been passed down to his family.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 10:00 am. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
