Brian passed away peacefully on Sunday February 14, 2016 at the age of 50. Brian is predeceased by his parents, Tony and Teresa Coyne. Brian is survived by his loving wife Shiela Dinglasan. Brian is lovingly remembered by his son Matthew, sisters Janine Coyne and Tracy Novak, nephew Tyler; nieces Hailey, Paris and Calais; in-law’s Diego and Fortunata Dinglasan, brother-in-law Cristian; supportive friends Jennifer Robinson, Gaya Nair, Eugene MacKenzie, Helen Weech; loving family, friends, and colleagues at Old Mill Toronto.
Brian was diagnosed with a brain tumor in May 2014. The family would like to recognize and express their heartfelt appreciation to the wonderful medical team and staff at the Trillium Miss Hospital, Pencer Brain Tumor Centre at Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital and especially Kensington Hospice. Shiela would like to thank all of you for your loving support and care, understanding and time. Brian demonstrated strength, courage, and his unwavering determination to beat his cancer were most admirable. Brian will be remembered and cherished by all who were fortunate to know him.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
A Celebration of Brian’s Life and service will be held in the chapel of The Old Mill Toronto (21 Old Mill Road.) on Friday February 19th, 2016 at 1:30pm. Followed by a reception. Brian will be laid to rest with his parents at Vineland Cemetery at later date.
