It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bonnie Carter on April 28, 2025 at the age of 79. A devoted mother, cherished Mamma, and beloved Great Mamma, who left us with countless memories, laughter, and love.

Bonnie was the proud mother of Charlene (Ron), Lori (Ken), Dwayne (Jackie), David (Chantal), and Dean (Margaret). She was the cherished Mamma to Cody, Chelsea, Brittney, Amy, Carley, Cayla, Kain, Ryan, Katelynn, Emily, Clarice, and Nadine. Her legacy lives on in her great-grandchildren: Brooke, Adam, Emma, Van, Dallas, Maverick, Landon, Amelia, Marquis, Vaughan, Libby, and Sophia.

Bonnie was born on January 19, 1946, in Springhill, Nova Scotia. She was the beloved daughter to Bruce Wallace Low & Leona May Simpson. Bonnie was a proud sister to Barbra, Brenda, Gary, Marilyn, Evelyn, Gordie & Johnny.

She has been reunited with her loving parents and her dear siblings Brenda, Gary, Gordie and Johnny.

Bonnie had a witty sense of humor and happy-go-lucky nature which made her a joy to be around. She loved being in the sun, and her garden was her pride and joy — each plant lovingly tended to as a symbol of her nurturing spirit.Bonnie had a love of life’s simple pleasures: spending time with family, and babysitting her grandchildren, who brought her so much joy. She was also an avid fan of soap operas, especially The Young and the Restless. One of her favourite past times was meeting up with her condo pals and showing them the card shark she was in Euchre. And through it all, Elvis Presley remained the soundtrack to her life — his music forever holding a special place in her heart.Bonnie’s life was one of love, laughter, and devotion. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
