RUNNING, Betty Aileen ( nee Bevan)

Passed away peacefully on April 9, 2012, in her 81st year, surrounded by her loving family, at Humber River Regional Hospital – Finch site. Beloved wife of Robert for 61 years. Survived by 3 loving sons, Steve (Jan), Tim (Lynn), Kevin, grandson Andrew, and her furry companion Blossom. Survived by brothers Ron ( the late Helen), Michael (Marilyn) and sisters Joyce and Bonnie (Helmut). Predeceased by brother Ray, and sister Dorothy (Jack). Betty will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Janet who was our pillar of strength during this difficult time.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 (just west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 10:30am - 12:30pm. A Celebration of Betty’s life will be held in the chapel at 12:30pm. Flowers gratefully declined. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Arthritis Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
