Blessed with 97 years, peacefully passed away December 19, 2023. Daughter of Charlie and Agatha, Sister to Stanley, Widow of William McLaughlin. Cheery, gentle angel, mother of Linda and James (Michele), Grandmother of Kimberly, Lindsey, David, Robin and Mathew. Betty lived a long and varied life. She rode and swam in her early years then set diamonds into drill bits during WWII. On his return from the war she married Bill and started building her lifelong home and family. Betty raised her two children, lived a little, and then helped raise her grandchildren. When Bill passed she was free (no more dinner at 5) to take in the Blue Jays games with friends and sing to her heart’s content with the choir. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
