Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday March 23, 2011. Devoted wife of the late Alessandro. Proud and loving mother of Mimo (Diane) and Mary Testa (Jack). Cherished nonna of Christina, Anthony and Michael. Berenice will be sadly missed by her brother Emilio Recchia (Mary) and her many dear friends and family. She is predeceased by her brother Serafino. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Friday from 2-4p.m and 6-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard de Clairvaux (1789 Lawrence Ave. W. Toronto) on Saturday at 10a.m. Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, donations to War Amps or Free the Children would be appreciated.
