Barb passed away peacefully surrounded by her closest friends and family, in her 74th year, on April 25, 2024 at Trillium Mississauga. She is predeceased by her brother Brian Feduk, her mother Rita Rutledge-Eng and her father Joseph Eng. She is survived by her brother Steve (Diane), niece Melissa, sister Lillian Gagnon (Al), her sister Frances Mary Lanther, her nephew Steven Harrison (Kay), her best friend Sharon, her honorary niece Janesse, and her Angel dog Mocha.
She will be greatly missed by many friends and family who will remember Barb for her generous spirit and loyalty to her faith.
Barb was an avid walker, cyclist, and canoer, all avenues that allowed her to admire and revel in nature. She was a loyal employee of Bauer Nike for nearly 50 years and was a fierce and dedicated Blue Jays fan. She loved music of all kinds as well as painting. As a testament to her generous spirit, Barb would donate to many charities. Specifically though, she was known for bringing loads and loads of toys to the Walmart bus during the holidays for those less fortunate.
Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, Weston Chapel on Wednesday, May 1st from 12:30 pm until the funeral service at 1:30 pm. Following the service, all are welcome to join the the family in the reception room where food and beverages will be provided.
We wish to acknowledge the Staff of Trillium Missiauga Hospital and the Dorothy Ley Hospice, and Dr. Hamrahi, for his kindness and excellent care of Barb.
