Barbara Smith

Barbara Smith, in her 84th year, passed away following a brief illness, on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Etobicoke General Hospital with family by her side.  

Barb was predeceased by her husband Franklin Iles Smith.  She leaves behind her loved daughter Lisa (Dan McArthur) and her two cherished grandchildren Sarah and Curtis.  Sister to David Locke and his wife Gladys and aunt to Marsha and Keith (Fiona).

Barb will fondly remembered for her community work, love for children, smile cookie day, Tim Horton's camp day, her love for God and kindness. She was been reunited with her beloved husband Frank and God.

Sadly she will be missed by her family, friends and her Tim Horton's family.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge, on Friday, January 2, 2026 from 3-7 pm.  Funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 10:30 a.m at Peel Pentecostal Tabernacle, 2005 Countryside Drive, Brampton.  Interment to follow at Burlington Memorial Gardens, 3353 Guelph Line, Burlington.
