Barbara Elizabeth Hazlewood (nee Howell)

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Barbara announces her unexpected passing at home just shy of her 82nd birthday on Sunday, May 22, 2022. Barbara is the beloved mother of Jeffrey Trupp (deceased), Jennifer Zelcer (Randy), Janice Trupp (Gerry) and Kathleen Lovett (Bill). Barbara was a much loved grandmother to Sarah, Jordan, Michael, Ashley, Matthew and Chase and great grandmother to Tova Gittel, Yosef Chaim, Neimah, Binny, Yitzy, and Meira. Barbara will be missed by her brother Doug Howell (Pat) and their son DJ. She will be reunited with her late brother Michael Howell and parents Douglas James Howell and Mary Kathleen Howell. Barbara will be missed by her extended family, many friends and her cherished fur babies. A visitation will take place at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, Weston on Wednesday, May 25 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. A service to be held in the chapel on Barbara’s birthday Thursday, May 26 at 1 PM and laid to rest at Beechwood cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her memory to the Crohn’s and Colitis Canada.
