In loving memory of Audrey Eileen Weaver (nee Barton)

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Audrey, who passed away at Sunnybrook Hospital on Tuesday October 13, 2026 at the remarkable age of 98 years old.

Audrey lived her long life with resilience and she will be dearly missed by family and friends. She was so well liked that many friends simply referred to her as "Mom".

Audrey married George John Weaver on July 9, 1949 (deceased 2003). They moved to Weston ON in 1951 and Audrey stayed in the same home for 74 years. Together they raised 2 children, Patricia & Bruce and was loved by 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and will be sadly missed by all. She was the eldest of 3 children and was an avid fan of both the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs and was a member of the Weston Lionettes for many years. Audrey loved to dance and even jived into her early 90's. Many thanks to the staff at Humber Heights Retirement Home and to the staff at Sunnybrook Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their sincere passion and care.

Graveside Service to be held on Tuesday October 20, 2026 at Riverside Cemetery at 1567 Royal York Road, Etobicoke ON at 11:00 am followed by a reception at Ward's Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road, Weston ON.

Audrey was an avid supporter of Covenant House in Toronto, a charity for homeless youth. Mom's generosity shone through as she always said "it's for the kids".
