Pulla, Assunto “Alberto”

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday January 3, 2020 at the age of 92. Devoted husband of the late Cesina (July 22, 2019). Proud father of Teresa (Guy D’Addario), Nancy (Donald Forget) and Mike (Karen). Loving Nonno of Cristina (Frank), Angelo (Sandra), Anthony, Stefanie, Melissa (Jordan),Matthew, Alyssa, Joshua. Cherished Big Nonno of Arianna and Alessio. He will be sadly missed by his brother Mario (Cesina) from Argentina and his many family and friends. Assunto has been reunited with his beautiful wife Cesina, his parents Michele and Vincenza, his siblings Liberatina (Vincenzo), Arduino (Maria), Donato (Incoronata) and Carmela (Michele).

He will be fondly remembered for his love of his family. His cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren would always bring a smile to his face. One of Assunto’s last request was to have a television by his hospital bed so he could watch his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs. God granted him one up with V.I.P seats to watch his game from above.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100 on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Christian Mass will be celebrated at St. Jude’s Church (3265 Weston Rd., Weston) on Wednesday January 8, 2020 at 10 am . Entombment to follow at Glendale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
