Assunta Di Bacco

With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved and devoted mother, Assunta Di Bacco (nee Zavarella), at the Mackenzie Health Centre on July 19, 2013 at the age of 88. She was surrounded by her loving family when God called her into his welcoming and restful arms. Our mother will be held dearly in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, Woodbridge Chapel, (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Sunday, July 21 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 22, 2013 at 9:30 am at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St. Francis Ave. west of Weston Rd). Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or to your charity of choice.
