It is with profound sadness that we share the passing our beloved mother, Artemisia “Soula” Dimopoulos.
While still in her teens, she journeyed to Canada on her own by boat, arriving at Pier 21 in Halifax as so many new Canadians did at the time. It was an act of tremendous courage and strength, qualities that would define her throughout her life. She worked tirelessly to build a life in Canada and was a loving and devoted wife to my late father, Nicholas. She was the heart of our family, and her love, resilience and devotion shaped all of us.She is survived by her two sons, Constantine and Euthimios (Tim) Dimopoulos and her Daughter in laws Kim Bonner and Taline Tajerian.
We will miss her more than words can express, but we will carry her memory and the many lessons she gave us forever.
May her memory be eternal. Καλό ταξίδι.
