After a brave and courageous struggle with cancer, passed away peacefully at home,on Saturday April 21st 2012. Loving husband of Silvana for over 51 years. Beloved father of Joseph, Michael, Donald, and the late David. Cherished Nonno of Amanda, Michele and Matthew. Dear brother of Dominic, Frank and the late Antonio, and brother in law of Mary, Joanne, Carol, Joseph and Cathy. Predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Natalina and his mother and father in law Antonio and Elvira Alessandrini. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues. A proud member of the IUPAT for over 50 years, and as a General Vice President for over 16 years. An avid golfer and proud member of the National Golf Club of Canada. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Monday from 6-9 pm and on Tuesday from2-4pm and 6-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St.Margaret Mary Church (8500 Islington Avenue Woodbridge) on Wednesday April 25 2012 at 10am. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
