It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest Antonio ( Tony ). He passed away peacefully on October 17, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Antonio was born in Guardia Lombardi, Italy on July 15th, 1952 as the only child of Michele & Antonietta. Beloved husband of 45 years to Mary. Cherished father of Michael (Teresa) & Antoinette (Shahriar). Proud Nonno of Antonio & Liliana.
A family man, who was always smiling, he treasured his children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. He had a vivacious personality and always lit up when his family was around him. He will be remembered by many family members and friends for his calmness, gentleness & his contagious smile.
Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge) on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. & Friday, October 21, 2022 from 6:00-9:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church (100 Bainbridge Ave., Woodbridge) Saturday, October 22nd , 2022, at 9:00 a.m. with entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St., Toronto).
