Antonio Santangelo

Antonio Santangelo passed away peacefully at Humber River Hospital on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. Antonio was the beloved husband of the late Concetta, who passed in 2022, and together they shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Grace (Sam), Frank (Cathy), and Robert (Candace). Antonio was a proud Nonno to Marie (Francesco), Anthony (Daniela), Vanessa, Nikolas, Adrian, and Sabrina, and a cherished Bis-Nonno to Luca. He is predeceased by his four sisters and one brother, and will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

 Antonio valued hard work and dedicated many years of his life as a laborer, taking immense pride in his contributions. He found great joy in tending to his garden and delighted in sharing its seasonal harvest. His family will forever appreciate the fruits of his labor. Antonio cherished time spent with his family, especially when it came to his grandchildren. They were his world. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge, on Sunday, July 28, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Parish (100 Bainbridge Ave.). Entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery.
