Antonio Miguel Farias will be remembered as a man whose life was defined by love, strength, and unwavering dedication to his family. A devoted husband to his beloved Conceição, he built a life rooted in care, loyalty, and deep connection.
He was a proud and loving father to Paula, Natalia (Mark), Ana (Rick), and Daniel (Mary), and nothing brought him greater joy than the time he spent with his children and grandchildren—Samantha, Matthew, Sydney, Katie, Taylor, Liliana, and Sebastian. His family was his world, and he cherished every moment shared with them. He also held a special place in his heart for Chris and Joe, whom he embraced as family and remained close to throughout his life.
Antonio was known for his strong work ethic and resilience. Tough as nails, he approached life’s challenges with determination and grit, never backing down from what needed to be done. He never hesitated to help others, including friends, neighbours, family, and even those he had just met. Yet alongside that strength was a warm and lively spirit—he had a wonderful sense of humor and could always be counted on for a good conversation. He loved to talk, to laugh, and to connect with those around him. He also had a deep love for his team, Benfica, proudly supporting the Portuguese soccer club throughout his life.
He carried a deep love for his homeland of São Miguel, a place that always held a special piece of his heart. Whether reminiscing about it or returning to visit, it brought him comfort and joy. In his quieter moments, he also enjoyed a round of golf, embracing the simple pleasures that balanced his hardworking nature.
Antonio is also lovingly remembered by his siblings—Jose, Odelia, Lorena, Dores, Santos, Gloria, and Liberta—and is reunited in eternal rest with his siblings who predeceased him, Messias, Nicolau, and Teresa. He was the cherished son of the late Miguel and Maria Farias, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became.
He held a special place in his heart for his many nephews and nieces, cherishing the time spent together throughout their lives. He took great joy in reminiscing about shared moments, stories, and milestones, always keeping those memories close.
Above all, Antonio Miguel Farias will be remembered as a man who worked hard, loved deeply, and lived fully. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished so dearly, and in the countless memories he created with those who were fortunate enough to know him.
