It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Antonio Marra on January 2, 2023. Antonio was born to Salvatore and Mariannina on July 10, 1940 in Guardiaregia, Italy. Beloved husband of the late Concetta. Antonio and Concetta married in April, 1960 before immigrating to Canada to start their life together. Nothing made Antonio happier than spending time with his beloved Concetta, his family and friends.
Antonio will be missed by his siblings Gaetano (late Argentina), Vittorio (Antoinetta), and Livia (Pietro). He has joined his late siblings Pasquale (late Carmela), and Nicola (late Angela). He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Our grief over losing him is infinite, and our loving memory of him will always remain in our hearts.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge) on Thursday January 5, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s Church (100 Bainbridge Avenue, Woodbridge) Friday, January 5, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., with entombment to follow at Glendale Cemetery.
