1929 ‐ 2018
Died peacefully, Thursday afternoon at the age of 88. Preceded in death by his wife
Guiseppina. He leaves behind his son Giovanni (Bruna), daughter Angela (Doug), his
grandchildren Marc (Angela), Eric, Jenna and his great grandson Matteo.
Antonio was raised in Settefrati, Italy and served in the military in Modena, Italy. He
then immigrated to Canada in 1957 with his family. During his working career in
Toronto, as a Steelman, he was involved with the construction of the Eaton Centre
and many other buildings across the GTA and Southwestern Ontario. He retired in
1991 at the age of 62 and enjoyed socializing with neighbours and meeting up at the
local park with fellow retirees.
The family would like to thank the staff at Chartwell Kingsville Retirement Residence,
Kingsville, ON. and Erie Shore Hospital, Leamington, ON., for their devotion, care and
support for our father.
Rest in peace. You’ll be missed.
