Antonina Provenzano

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Antonina Provenzano on October 9th at the age of 90.

Antonina was born on July 22nd, 1935 to Rosa Distefano and Giuseppe Provenzano in Ulmi, Sicily, Italy. She then moved to Venezuela, eventually settling in Colonia Agricola de Turen.

In 1958 she married Salvatore Gandolfo and went on to have two children, Francesca and Luis.

She dedicated her life to caring for her family and cultivating wonderful gardens full of vegetables and flowers.

Antonina is predeceased by her parents and her husband Salvatore. She is survived by her brothers Sebastiano and Salvatore; her two children Francesca and Luis; and her grandchildren Alessandro and Maria Elisa.

May she rest in peace, and be free of pain and suffering.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Private cremation to take place at a later date.
