Obituary

On April 19, 2026, our beloved Anne passed away suddenly in her home at the remarkable age of 92.

Anne was a deeply loving and gracious woman; quiet and private in nature yet profoundly devoted to her family. She held each loved one close to her heart, reaching out with thoughtful cards that made everyone feel cherished. Although she lived alone, she was always surrounded by family in spirit, with photographs of loved ones filling her home. She generously opened her home to family members pursuing work or education and took great joy in watching the family grow, never forgetting a new baby’s name or birthday.

Anne had a lively life shared with her husband Jack who played the bass and violin. Although she was widowed early in life, Anne remained strong and independent, living in her Ontario home for almost 60 years. During her working years at Snap on Tools, she served as a supervisor on her line, a role she carried out with dedication and reliability. She built a life of self-reliance, confidently navigating her community by bus and taxi. Anne also loved to travel, taking trips to Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba to stay closely connected with family.

She was predeceased by her husband Jack; parents, John and Maria Kudeba; sisters, Bella Kopeck and Polly Chicoski; and brothers, Metro, Mike, Bill, and Henry Kudeba. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Dora Skwarchuk of Flin Flon, Manitoba; Alex Kudeba of Canora, Saskatchewan; Victoria Hort of Stony Plain, Alberta; and Alice Leske of St. Paul, Alberta; nieces, nephews and extended family.
