It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Marton on Tuesday October 31, 2023 at 1:31am. Anna was born to parents Mehaly Bejczi and Maria Toth in Ozmánbük Hungary on September 24, 1932. She died in Toronto at Humber River Hospital surrounded by family at the age of 91.

Beloved Anyu of Anna Marton (Brian Miles); Nagymama of John Marton (Martina Lancaric), Crystal Bonser (Ian Bonser), Benjamin Bonser, and Chelsea Bonser; mother-in-law of Heather Marton; and sister of Juliska. She is now reunited in heaven with her husband Janos Marton and her son Janos Marton Jr.

Anna will be most remembered for her warm smile, her fighting spirit, and her delicious homemade hus leves (chicken soup).

Visitation will be held at Ward Funeral Home (2035 Weston Rd. Toronto) on Thursday November 2nd 2023 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm - 9:00pm.

Funeral service will be held at St. Elizabeth of Hungary (432 Sheppard Ave. E. Toronto) on Friday November 3rd 2023 at 1:00pm. Burial to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery (375 Mt Pleasant Rd. Toronto).
