The Family of Anna Elmer are sad to announce her passing after a short illness and stay at William Osler Hospital.  Dec 18, 1931-May 9, 2024.   Anna is predeceased by her husband Stephen Elmer, who passed away in 1996.  Her second husband Otto Udvardy in 2008.  She leaves behind her sons, Howard (Tracie), Tom (Sylvia), Stephen (Aurea).  Grandsons, Matthew (Shealey), Stephen (Heather), Joshua and Daniel.  Also, behind are 5 Great grandchildren, Otis, Olivia, Gryffin, Owen and Damen.

Anyu arrived in Canada from Hungary in 1957 with her husband and nothing much else.   She and Stephen built a family and a business and a new life and overcame the hardships of language barriers and different cultures. But they had the help of many friends and along with their hard work made a beautiful life in Toronto then Brampton.

May she rest in peace.

Funeral arrangements have commenced at Ward Funeral Home Brampton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre at Toronto General Hospital
