Ann Rose Jackson, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2026, at the age of 99.

Born in Montreal, Quebec, on May 26, 1927, Ann moved to Brampton, Ontario, in 1964, where she made her home and created a lifetime of cherished memories with her family.

In her younger years, Ann worked as a keypunch operator for Canadian Pacific until her move to Brampton. Following the passing of her beloved husband, Donald, in 1973, Ann faced the challenge of raising her two children, Donna and Glen, as a single working mother. With strength, determination, and devotion, she worked hard to provide for her family and later continued her career at McDonnell Douglas. Her resilience and unwavering love for her children were a testament to the remarkable woman she was.

Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald, in 1973, and her siblings Leo Phelan, Gladys Mullin (Phelan), Gordon Phelan, Lina Gaudette (Phelan), and Bill Phelan, as well as her sister-in-law, Peggy Kelly.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Glen and Donna (son-in-law Fred); her grandchildren, Andrew (Kaitlin) and Sarah (Brett); and her cherished great-grandchildren, Colton, Lincoln, Everleigh, and Weston. She also leaves behind Glen’s former wife, Dianne, who has remained a valued part of the family. Ann will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Some of Ann’s happiest moments were spent watching her grandchildren play hockey and baseball. She took great joy in being there to cheer them on, and these memories will always hold a special place in the hearts of her family.

Ann also shared a special bond with her extended family, the Riders’ who were a meaningful part of Ann’s life. The connection they shared will always be remembered.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff at Faith Manor for the kindness, compassion, and care they provided to Ann, making her final years comfortable and meaningful. Their thoughtfulness and support will always be deeply appreciated.

Ann’s life was one of love, perseverance, and dedication to her family. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured, the memories they shared, and the many lives she enriched along the way.

She will be dearly missed and forever remembered with love by all who knew her.
