It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Anita Catherine (“Kay”) Whitwham. Kay passed away peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital on August 8, 2013.
Beloved wife of 59 years to the late William (Bill) Whitwham. Cherished mother to Wendy (Jeanne), Rod (Kim), Rob (Evie), Roger (Lesley) and Steve. Loving Grandmother to Brian (Lauren), Will, Kevin, Greg (Stephanie), Robyn and Karley. Proud Great Grandmother to Emily.
Kay will be sadly missed by her children, her sister Helen Heinrich, niece Sue Mantas (Jim) and by many family and friends.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and support staff of the 3rd floor “ace unit” at Brampton Civic Hospital for their professionalism and compassion.
Visitation will be held Monday August 12 from 7-9pm at the Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street South (hwy 10), Brampton. A private family service will be held to honour Kay’s life. Donation to Toronto’s Sick Children’s Hospital are greatly appreciated.
