Angela Medaglia

Angela Medaglia (nee Longo)

Angela was born on November 23, 1934, in Calabria, Italy, where she met the love of her life, Gaetano Medaglia. She came to Canada in 1965 with their three children to be with him.

Angela has been a wonderful mother to her children. She is survived by her daughter, Francesca Carter (Walter Carter), and her son, Francesco Medaglia (Marquita). She is now reunited with her son, Mario Medaglia (Lucia).

Angela is a devoted grandmother to Lisa, Angela, Melissa, Michael, Shane and Evan, and is a doting great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren. She is also a loving sister, and aunt, and loved to have family gatherings with all.

As we lay Angela to rest by her loving husband’s side, we say “you will be forever missed, but never forgotten.”

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
