Andrew "Andy" Purdon

Purdon, Andrew “Andy” – peacefully, after a long and full life on his 91st birthday, Saturday, March 5th, 2016 at the Brampton Civic Hospital. Beloved husband of Mae for 61 wonderful years. Loving dad of Andrea (Rick Westcott) and Scott (Monica Kearsey). Cherished grandad of Hailey, Maggie, Kendra and Andrew. Dear brother of Douglas (Rosemary Aubert) and brother in law of Peggy and Al Day. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Andy had a successful career with Fruehauf Trailers for 42 years. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow at Riverside Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
