It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Amelia Filice, on November 23, 2023 at her home surrounded by family.
Amelia was born in San Sisto, Calabria, Italy, and her journey led her to meet her soulmate, Peter, with whom she shared more than 68 years of beautiful marriage, with their first connection starting on a ship travelling to Canada. She was a beacon of kindness and generosity, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.
Amelia is survived by her devoted husband, Peter; and loving children: John (Daniela), Maria (Paul, deceased), and Frank (Maria). She was adored by her grandchildren: Peter (Bridget). Alessandra, Larissa, Vanessa, Amelia, and Stefano.
The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
May Amelia's soul rest in eternal peace.
